The Museum of Rudnik – Takovo Region proudly announces the re-opening of its original exhibition, “Queen Draga Obrenović: life and legacy,” in Gornji Milanovac. This exhibition, curated by historian Aleksandar Marušić and art historian Ana Ranković, is dedicated to the only modern Serbian queen and has successfully toured numerous cities to date.

At the invitation of the Gornji Milanovac Tourist Organization, the exhibition is once again accessible to the public at the Cultural Center of Gornji Milanovac. The goal is to present the life of Queen Draga Obrenović, often misinterpreted until now, in an objective and factual manner. The Tourist Organization also plans to organize the “Days of Queen Draga” event, which will further contribute better understanding of her of her significant role in Serbian history.
