Archeological excavation are finished on mountain Rudnik for this year.  At the Grabak site, descovered a fortification that protected the ore collection facilities. The aim of the research at the Gradovi site was to establish the existence of an older, Serbian medieval settlement beneath the remains from the Turkish period. We opened two probes in the immediate vicinity of the mosque.  Archaelogists who have been researching our rich heritage for the past fifteen years are:  Dejan Radičević, Ana Cicović, Jelena Marjanović and Mirko Vranić. Archaelogical research was carried out in the organization of The Museum of Rudnik and Takovo Region and The Department od Archaelogical od the Faculty of Philosophy.
